New CEO, executive appointments at Healthscreen

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – Healthscreen Solutions Inc., a major developer of clinical information systems for physician practices, has announced the appointment of a new president and CEO, along with several other key executives. They include:

• Justin Belobaba, President & CEO
Justin gained his financial experience in the investment banking department of HSBC Securities Inc. In 2001, he founded toMarket Inc., a company that provided wireless payment terminals and administrative software to the Canadian transportation industry. In 2004, Justin co-founded Medical Telecom Corporation (MTC). As CEO of MTC, Justin led the company to 1,000 percent year-over-year growth in both 2005 and 2006, while developing the CallerMD product, and securing endorsements from the Ontario Medical Association and the Coalition of Family Physicians. Justin is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University, with a degree in economics, and is a member of the academic honours society Phi Beta Kappa. Justin’s energy, strategic planning skills, and his proven ability to manage rapid expansion will be essential to Healthscreen’s success as he leads the company into its next phase of growth. Justin replaces Dr. Bruce Rosenberg as President & CEO.

• Dr. Bruce Rosenberg, Vice President of Business Development
A practicing physician in St. Catharines, Dr. Bruce Rosenberg founded Healthscreen in 1992. Bruce is Chair of the Ontario EMR Vendor Working Group, Chair of the Niagara Walk-in Clinics Association, Medical Director for the Henley Rowing Corporation, as well as a member of many other medical and information technology associations. Bruce received his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan and studied emergency medicine in Michigan. Bruce’s transition from CEO of Healthscreen to Vice President of Business Development will allow him to focus his energies on his two primary areas of interest and expertise: acquisitions and additional revenue streams. Since 1995, Bruce has acquired 14 medical software companies and has developed five new products. Under Bruce’s leadership, the company intends to increase its focus on these two key areas.

• Terry Boyko, Vice President of Sales
Terry Boyko spent the last 10 years with IKON Office Solutions. Terry is a proven leader, a highly competitive sales executive, and a unique and dedicated motivator, who grew from Field Sales as a perennial “National Award Winner” to most recently Director of Sales & Marketing, where he oversaw sales and marketing functions for IKON’s Canadian operation. Terry has extensive experience selling organizational work flow, professional services, and the associated hardware requirements to businesses across Canada. Terry received his BA from McMaster University. His experience building and managing sales teams and sales processes at all levels of an organization will be vital to executing Healthscreen’s aggressive nationwide expansion plans. Terry replaces Wes Stonos as Vice President of Sales.

• Adam Hutton, Vice President of Operations
Adam Hutton worked in the Marketing & Sales Department of HSBC InvestDirect (formerly Merrill Lynch HSBC) from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, Adam co-founded toMarket Inc., where he played a major role in the development and deployment of its web-based credit card settlement system. In 2004, Adam co-founded Medical Telecom Corporation, serving as its Vice President of Operations. Adam graduated with Honours from Queen’s University, where he studied economics. Healthscreen will benefit greatly from Adam’s proven ability to manage a wide range of duties, as well as build “from scratch” automated systems and processes that maximize revenue and operational efficiency.

• Martin Ross, Vice President of Technology
Martin Ross has over a decade of experience in information technology and software development. From 2001 to 2004, Martin developed robust financial systems for Goldman Sachs (New York) in their Global Derivatives Technology group. In 2004, Martin co-founded Medical Telecom Corporation as Vice President of Technology. Martin has a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Martin’s exceptional capabilities in systems architecture will prove invaluable to Healthscreen entire suite of products and services. He replaces Ken Martin as Vice President of Technology.

• Wes Stonos, Vice President of Product Development
Wes has been involved in the Information Technology sector for over 15 years, specializing in the sale and marketing of software solutions. Wes joined Healthscreen in 2004, and brought a wealth of sales and marketing experience spanning the North American and international marketplaces. His experience includes new product launches and corporate turnarounds. In his new role as Vice President of Product Development, Wes will oversee marketing responsibilities for Healthscreen’s entire suite of products, ongoing R&D for existing products, as well as the commercialization of new products.
