Mike Martineau joins B Sharp Technologies

TORONTO – Mr. Robert Lazar, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, B Sharp Technologies Inc., has announced the appointment of Mr. Michael Martineau (pictured) as Vice-President, Sales and Marketing.

“We are pleased to welcome Michael to the B Sharp team”, said Mr. Lazar. “Michael is an established IT veteran with an extensive track record selling and delivering solutions to the healthcare sector and will play a crucial role in driving B Sharp’s future growth in this sector.”

In his new role, Mr. Martineau is responsible for driving overall revenue growth at B Sharp. His mandate includes managing the sales process and sales team, creating and managing marketing programs, defining new products and services, and identifying and developing new partnerships and sales channels.

“I have worked with and competed against the B Sharp team over the past few years”, noted Mr. Martineau. “I have tremendous respect for their capabilities and I am excited to have the opportunity to join this dynamic team.”

Mr. Martineau holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Toronto. As the founding executive at two Canadian Internet Service Providers and a founding board member of CA*net, he played an active role in the development of the Canadian Internet in the early 1990’s. In 2004, Mr. Martineau joined the Branham Group and helped create Branham’s eHealth practice. Over the past several years he was the COO at a leading Canadian health information management software company and worked as an independent eHealth consultant. Mr. Martineau is a recognized commentator on the health IT market with regular columns in Health Information Management & Communications Canada magazine and the on-line edition of Technology for Doctors.
