Christie InnoMed acquires clinical IT developer

ST. EUSTACHE, Que. – Christie InnoMed announced that it has acquired the Stat-Dev company of Montreal, an advanced hospital and clinical IT software development firm. Founded in 2003, Stat-Dev has devised a suite of innovative, high-performing products.

Stat-Dev’s clinical information and management systems (ER, pharmacy, outpatient clinics, waiting areas, patient transport and beds management) have been deployed in over 50 hospitals in Quebec.

The acquisition propels Christie to the forefront of healthcare IT development and considerably expands its integrated solutions portfolio. Integrating Stat-Dev also strengthens Christie’s current IT development team.

For Stat-Dev, the acquisition leverages Christie’s presence in the marketplace, and takes advantage of Christie’s established sales and customer support team.

Christie InnoMed simultaneously announced the creation of its new division, Christie Stat-Dev, to focus on developing healthcare IT solutions for the Canadian healthcare market.
