CHIEF adds advisory committee members
TORONTO – CHIEF:
Canada’s Health Informatics Executive Forum is pleased to announce its
Advisory Committee for 2010-11. Lydia Lee (pictured), VP and CIO,
University Health Network, and Integrated CIO, Shared Information
Management Services (SIMS), leads the committee as the new Chair.
Lydia is a widely respected leader in the Canadian healthcare system
having held numerous positions in administration and consulting. CHIEF
also welcomes three new Advisory Committee members:
• Barry Rivelis, CIO, Provincial Health Services Authority (BC);
• Diane Salois Swallow, CIO, York Central Hospital & Southlake Regional
• Rick Skinner, CIO, Cancer Care Ontario.
They join Sandra Cascadden, Catherine Claiter, Roger Girard, and Jean
Huot on the Committee to provide direction for CHIEF.
Next week, CHIEF members will delve into the important topic of
collaboration during the two-day Autumn Symposium, “Fostering
Patient/Provider Collaboration – Realization through Enabling
Technologies,” in Old Montreal.
Senator Jacques Demers, well-known for his expertise in facilitating
winning collaboration in the hockey world, will kick off this
members-only event with his unique and valuable insight.
CHIEF members are senior health informatics executives from across the
country. Due to demand, membership is now available by invitation only.
In addition, private-sector Institute Members participate in CHIEF as
Executive peers. The current Institute Members are:

• Wairever, Inc.
