eHealth offers expanded
QUEBEC CITY The eHealth 2009
conference, to be held in Quebec City, will feature an Interoperability
Showcase on June 2 and 3. The eHealth Interoperability Showcase is a
vendor neutral demonstration of eHealth applications using IHE profiles
and pan-Canadian EHR Stable for Use Standards to exchange health

applications represent systems found in a range of healthcare settings.

clinical data is passed from one system to another, thereby improving
For its part, Philips Healthcare announced that it will demonstrate
seamless sharing of diagnostic images and reports using XDS-I and Pan
Canadian Standards. Philips will show the ability to handle third party
PACS images and integrate these studies into the Patient Study Timeline.
